DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, depart from Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. The journey takes approximately five to six hours, passing through rural villages, farmland, and scenic countryside.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive inside the reserve. Selous is known for its large populations of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and African wild dogs.
As the day cools, enjoy beautiful sunset views before returning to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Safari Activities in Selous
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of safari activities in Selous. This park offers a unique combination of experiences not found in many other reserves.
Morning activities may include:

Spotting lions, leopards, elephants, and antelope
After lunch, enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of the highlights of Selous. From the water, observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of birds from a different perspective.
In the late afternoon, return to camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by nature.

Day 3: Walking Safari and Return to Dar es Salaam
After an early breakfast, enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This experience allows you to explore the bush on foot, learn about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller details of the ecosystem.
After the walking safari, return to camp for brunch and check-out. Begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
