DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Ruaha National Park
Depending on your travel plan, arrive in Ruaha National Park by scheduled flight from Dar es Salaam or by road transfer. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp.
Ruaha is famous for its large elephant population and unique mix of eastern and southern African wildlife species. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife.
After check-in, enjoy lunch and some time to relax. In the late afternoon, head out for a sunset game drive along the Ruaha River, where animals gather to drink. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for a full day of exploration in Ruaha National Park. The park’s vast size and diverse habitats make each game drive unique.

Leopards and cheetahs
Greater and lesser kudu
Hippos and crocodiles along the river
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to the lodge for lunch, depending on your preference. Continue with afternoon game drives through remote areas rarely visited by other vehicles.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the African stars.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Optional Walking Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Early hours offer excellent chances to spot predators and capture beautiful light for photography.
In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or choose an optional guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This activity allows you to explore the bush on foot and learn about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller details of the ecosystem.
Later, enjoy a short evening game drive or sundowner experience before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 4: Final Game Drive and Departure
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park. Take in the last views of Ruaha’s dramatic landscapes and wildlife.
