DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arusha to Olduvai Gorge
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Olduvai Gorge. The drive offers stunning views of open plains, volcanic landscapes, and Maasai grazing lands.
Arrive at Olduvai Gorge and visit the museum, where you will learn about the early human fossils discovered in the area. These findings changed the world’s understanding of human evolution. Walk along the gorge while your guide explains the history of the land, the geology, and the importance of the discoveries made by the Leakey family.
After the visit, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to your lodge or tented camp near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay in the highlands.

Day 2: Maasai Cultural Experience and Return to Arusha
After breakfast, visit a traditional Maasai village. You will be welcomed by the community and introduced to their way of life. Learn about Maasai customs, traditional homes, clothing, and daily activities such as cattle herding and beadwork.
The Maasai will share stories about their culture, traditions, and strong connection to the land. You may also enjoy a traditional dance and have time to interact with families, ask questions, and take photos with permission.
After the cultural visit, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
