Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your adventure with a morning pickup in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. Enjoy a full day of game drives exploring the park’s savannahs and river ecosystems. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide range of birdlife. After the game drive, your guide will take you to your selected campsite or lodge for the evening.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive and possibly some wildlife sightings before reaching the vast, open plains of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in central Serengeti, one of the best areas for spotting big cats and the Great Migration herds (seasonal).

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s central and surrounding areas. Your experienced guide will take you to wildlife hotspots based on recent animal movements. Expect to encounter prides of lions, herds of elephants, cheetahs stalking prey, and large groups of wildebeest and zebras. With its sheer scale and diversity, every corner of the Serengeti tells a different story.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a morning game drive and breakfast, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you’ll have opportunities to spot more wildlife and take in the scenic beauty of the Rift Valley and surrounding hills. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to your camp or lodge situated near the crater rim, where you can enjoy panoramic views and prepare for tomorrow’s descent.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha

Early in the morning, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of the most wildlife-dense areas on Earth. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five — including endangered black rhinos — as well as flamingos, hippos, and hyenas. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving by evening.
