DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes about two hours and offers beautiful views of local villages, farmland, and the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment.
Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive. Lake Manyara is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and numerous bird species. The lush forest is also home to large troops of baboons and monkeys.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park, then continue with an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye on the trees for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp in the nearby Karatu area. Relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Morning Leisure and Return to Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at the lodge. Depending on your preference, you may take a short nature walk around the lodge or simply enjoy the peaceful highland scenery.
Later in the morning, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon. This itinerary can easily be extended to Ngorongoro Crater or Tarangire National Park.
